Yup. Silver lining. We need to remember this. It’s not a Buddhist saying, but it could be. Ponder what it means and how relevant it is for us all now. This was the view from the lounge today. I’m calling it ‘the lounge’ because I do do quite a lot of lounging in a room which was, not so long ago, at the wind-battered end of a stables, full of old, mainly useless timber with cheap barn doors held together with string. Now it’s cosy with a wood burner (and rather lovely radiator), nice velvet-y sort-of-sofa and this is the view. So that’s a silver lining in itself. They are everywhere. What I realised recently is we can make them. It’s just a decision. Apply a silver lining to anything. Like a kit you might buy online, except this is free and in your mind. Unlike a window decal it doesn’t peel off. Just invent your silver lining to any dodgy past experience - or present one, et Voila! You see one. 🙏🏼🙂
